awakened lifeforms, one in mind and yet separated in private thought; cased in built to order bodies: standard arms, legs, faces, smiles. no mysteries, no secrets, no memories kept unshared. equal starting points to build a life. to build a city. working with one goal, all brothers, loving neighbours as ourselves, ourselves as neighbours. constructing buildings and populating them. free from strangers' foreign minds-

-or we could just stay like this. the two of us. together. for three years more. till death do us part. and let the others sleep.
