Hot "Speed" hunk Keanu Reeves spent $5,000 for a boa constrictor, a pet he's always dreamed of owning, but he didn't have it long. Called out of town on film biz, the actor told his maid to go to a pet shop and buy a large toad for the snake's meal. But she fed the boa a HORNED toad - which wrecked the snake's innards. When Keanu found the boa belly-up, he burst into tears.

| That's awful... Poor Keanu... A horned toad isn't even a toad - it's a lizard. Um...Who feeds a Boa Constrictor toads? That is not the proper diet for them. Depending on the size of the snake, baby mice up to large rabbits are the proper diet. And, before you jump on me and try to bite my head off for my criticism, I have 6 snakes of my own, and I baby sit a friend's Red-Tail Boa every summer. The Red-Tail is about 6' long now, so one has to be careful. | ||
