Keanu To Sit On 'Ottoman'
Keanu Reeves is looking to stay very busy before production starts on the two Matrix sequels with word that he is taking on the starring role in a comedy called The Ottoman Empire, according to a number of sources. The project, which will be directed by Andrew Bergman from his own script, tells the comedic story of a ex-porn star turned honest furniture businessman who is blackmailed into having an affair with the First Lady, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Before Reeves can jump into Ottoman, he’ll be heading to play his role in Sam Raimi’s The Gift later this month followed by the Sweet November remake in the spring. Reeves finally heads down under for The Matrix 2 & 3 in the fall.
