Keanu 'Driven'

This Sunday at the American Film Market in Santa Monica, Universal Pictures outbid all comers for the North American rights to Interlight's as yet unfinished thriller, Driven. Universal plans to release the film later this year.

Written by David Elliot and directed by Joe Charbanic, the picture stars James Spader and Maris Tomei, and includes an appearance by Keanu Reeves. The story is about a retired FBI agent (Spader) with a dark past trying to find sanity in contemporary Chicago. Keanu Reeves plays the role of a serial killer.

Interlight is currently in pre-production on White Jazz, based on the James Ellroy (L.A. Confidential) novel of the same name. White Jazz, directed by Bob Richardson, will star Nick Nolte and John Cusack.
