Pinkett Smith up for 'Matrix' sequels
Jada Pinkett Smith is in negotiations to co-star in the double-barrelled sequels to "The Matrix."
The Hollywood Reporter says production on the two sequels is due to begin in March in Australia. Although original cast members Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving are returning, plot details are being kept secret.
The report did say that Pinkett Smith, wife of actor Will Smith, would play Fishburne's love interest in the sequels.
She is currently starring in Spike Lee's controversial "Bamboozled."
