BRANDY and James King lead a pack of starlets who want the part Aaliyah had in the sequel to "The Matrix." Warner Bros. originally intended to keep the Brooklyn-born beauty - who died last month in a charter plane crash - and just dub her voice. But now the studio has decided to reshoot her scenes with another actress. "The role had to be expanded and they want the character for another sequel," a spy said. Up-and-comer Eva Mendes was up for the role, but several other actresses are "lobbying very very hard." A rep for Warner Bros. said, "No comment."
