Julia Robert ranks among Hollywood's large breadwinners
(Translated from Babelfish-translated-German; discovered and futher edited by Anakin McFly)
"Pretty Woman" Julia Roberts (35) is the only female star who can request more than 25 million US dollars per film.
This is revealed in (magazine's name)'s ranking. She does however not quite approach that of the best-paid actor, Tom Hanks ("Forrest Gump").
The number of top-earning actors has doubled in the past ten years, writes the magazine. Only 72 of the 118,000 actors registered in the USA take more than ten million dollars per role. Only ten are assured more than 25 million by their participation in a film. Beside Hanks and Roberts, they are Will Smith, Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Jim Carrey and the two comedians Mike Myers and Adam Sandler.
Earning more than 20 million dollars are Russell Crowe, Harrison Ford, Leonardo DiCaprio and - the second woman behind Roberts - Cameron Diaz.
