Generation Um Seeking Lower East Side Apartments for Filming
How would you feel about having Keanu Reeves and company film a feature in your living quarters? If you’ve always had that burning desire, and you live in the immediate environs of Hester Street between Orchard and Essex, now is definitely the time to capitalize.
Location scouts are currently seeking an apartment in this section of the neighborhood for an upcoming film entitled generation Um, starring Keanu himself. Flyers posted on select phone booths and building entrances read as follows:
Generation Um, LLC is currently in pre-production for an independent feature film entitled generation Um starring Keanue Reeves.
We are currently scouting for an apartment to be used in the film. Filming will take place sometime in September and will take about one week to complete. A low-budget location fee and insurance will be provided.
If you are interested in having your home photographed for consideration as a filming location, please contact me at 917-586-3830. Thank you for your time and consideration.
And the movie really is in pre pre-production, since there is little to no information available. Not even on IMDB. Our two cents on Mr. Reeves is that he’s a mediocre actor who always seems to land big-ticket roles. The perfect casting job was Ted “Theodore” Logan in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure because he’s being himself. Or this old-school MTV commercial…
