| @Anakin - It was a pretty basic Wordpress install with a couple of plugins designed to improve performance. I still had to trash Wordpress and finagle everything into static PHP, so right now it's not really an application at all. Each element of the site is its own basic PHP page. |

| Shouldn't be too difficult, really, as long as maybe working with a bit of code doesn't scare you.
The way I plan to set this up, you won't have any direct control over the content of the site as it appears online so you won't have to worry about accidentally breaking anything. :) Basically I will forwarded you a hundred emails or so to an email address of your choosing, give you a username/password for FTP and a basic tutorial on how to plug the proper information into the code. It works very much like a template, and I can give you my email so you can get to me directly with any questions. |

| It is possible, sort of. I had to convert the application from MySQL to static PHP, though, as even on a dedicated server it generated way too much load. Right now the whole thing is on a shared account with a throttle to prevent too much traffic at once. As such, the PHP has to be updated manually.
Right now I'm sitting on around 345 emails, and that's after I accidentally deleted about 200 of them. |

| Hello again guys. You may remember me as the guy who started thankyoukeanu.com a few months back when the meme first took off. Due to circumstances with my own life/career I haven't been able to update the site in the last month or two. I have still been getting a large number of emails, however, and I just realized that they're still coming in on a regular basis.
I really feel like a douche not being able to update the site with everyone's messages, so here's where you guys come in: if anyone is interested and willing to dedicate a bit of free time to help me, I can essentially give one or two of you restricted access to the site so that you can help me sift through emails and update the site with new messages. I won't get into the specific details of how this will work unless I get a positive response from at least one or two of you, but needless to say I think it could be a good opportunity for everyone. I believe I already have a link to your site on thankyoukeanu.com, but if you're willing to help I'll make it BIGGER or something. :D Funkie |

| It should be all fixed now. I'm working on adding a development blog to the site so visitors can keep up with any outstanding issues or plans for new features. I also created a Twitter (twitter.com/thankyoukeanu) where I'll be posting new submissions and information relevant to the site.
Also I think I'm caught up on submissions now. If anyone submitted something and you don't see it on the site, simply resubmit it and I'll get it posted as soon as possible. |

| Hi guys! I just got an email from Anakin McFly that was submitted at thankyoukeanu.com and discovered this site. I'm the guy who designed the thankyoukeanu.com site and just wanted to drop and personally thank all of you who have submitted your comments so far. I had no idea Keanu was such a stand-up kind of dude and I think it all makes us feel a little better knowing there are genuinely awesome people out there doing good things with their lives.
I'm moving thankyoukeanu.com to a dedicated server as we speak, so you can probably count on it being around for a while. Like another redditor said, good job being ahead of the curve on this one. :D |
