Oh yeah, the trolls are ferocious. I almost can't go into the Star Trek 2009 board any more. If they're not trolling they're flaming each other. It's insane.

Nice to see ya, lady-majestik! and you too seer!

HAAA! 'size matters' Yeah a Bear WOULD be better than a groundhog. :D

More exciting too when 'the day' comes - a groundhog will run and hide, a bear could run after you.

Groundhog is a big fat rodent (they're actually kind of cute) that pretty much lives underground. They burrow.

When he comes out of his hole on February 2 and sees his shadow, that means there will be 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow, then spring is right around the corner.

The burden of predicting the end of winter lies on Punxsutawney Phil, a groundhog in Punxsutawney Pennsylvania. They're in the northeast part of the country where it's REALLY cold in the winter.

The origin of Groundhog Day is here: http://pittsburgh.about.com/cs/punxsutawney/a/groundhog_day.htm

If you haven't seen it, I can't recommend highly enough that you see the movie, 'Groundhog Day' with Bill Murray. Obviously, it takes place on Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney.

You can't make this stuff up. :D

I live in Florida, so we don't even think about the rodent. :D I hear "Groundhog Day" I think of the movie. Pure brilliance all around!

Nice to see you, ARYA!

Much Ado About Nothing

I love this movie SO much! I don't know why, but reading the play I didn't at all care for Beatrice. Don't know why. I guess it was the tone of her voice that I heard in my head as I read her words that rubbed me wrong. Emma Thompson made her loveable for me. The casting was REALLY INTERESTING to say the least. Branagh Blessed and Thompson, of course, but Denzel Washington? Robert Sean Leonard? Michael Keaton? Keanu Reeves??

I thought Keanu was wonderful, and I was so happy to see him in this. He was very believable in that part. I love Denzel Washington and think he's a terrific actor, but in this movie, I found Keanu more believable than Denzel in their respective roles. I loved Denzel's portrayal, but I didn't completely believe it, not sure why.

I'm so glad to hear from someone else who saw this gem. Which reminds me, I haven't seen it in ages... I need to watch it again. :)

Nice to see ya, taifunu!

Hi all!

I'm so glad this site is here. It's not only gorgeous, but everything is in one place. And a nice, safe message board where we can talk about Keanu without the idiots. I know I'm not going to be able to stay out of the board on imdb. I'm really starting to lose my temper with some of them. Geeze.

Glad to see you all! Everybody please hug yourselves for me. :)
