Henry's Crime (2010) – 2018-02-11 12:44:21
Haha

Great comedic timing from most of the actors. It is charming.
Little Buddha (1993) – 2018-02-11 12:35:18
Visually Lovely

What an interesting choice for casting they did for this movie. Keanu Reeves playing the person who became the Buddha. The look of the film really goes all out. When the scene looks down trodden, it really goes bleak, but when the scene looks warm and happy it really goes extravagant. Keanu is one of a few actors out of the few actors who went under such a physical change for roles, who didn't get much recognition for that difficult feat. Dear I say that Keanu looked beautiful in this role.
I like the story about finding the new Buddha, however it seemed like the story could have been told during a T.V. show length and not a feature movie length endeavor.
If you want to see visually lovely film, or if you want to see Keanu in a role that took spirituality and pushed it to the forefront, this movie could be for you.
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) – 2018-02-11 12:24:16
The movie is fine

It has been a while since I've seen this one, but I'm going to write a review anyway.

The movie is fine. Gary Oldman is a beast at acting, so him as Dracula is a smooth and easy choice. Winona Ryder didn't stick out for good or bad in this, so her Mina was fair. Another acting beast, Anthony Hopkins could sleepwalk his way through a role, and it would be a better performance than many. Cary Elwes did his thing. Anyway, all around good cast.
As for Keanu Reeves for Jonathan Harker...
The situation is this, Harker should have been slightly older. Keanu looked, sounded, and seemed too young for this role. It made everyone else (excluding Winona) seem like a seasoned vet, and Reeves a young high school student in the school play version of Dracula. This isn't true for Reeves abilities as an actor.
Some of the shots were really good in some parts, but somewhat boring in others. Costumes for Vlad/Dracula were great. The pace was fair, and the music fit well.

I do recommend seeing this movie once or twice to someone who hasn't seen it yet.

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) – 2018-02-11 12:16:55
Not old or Stale.

The two are back again in this second installment of Bill and Ted's [Insert some type of very crazy voyage here].

Wacky things happen as in the first movie, but some how they don't get old or over done. Honestly, I think if there were any other pairing, the movie would have gotten stale with the first one. Here they are scheduled for a 3rd one.

I say to them, keep it up. I say to you, give a watch. lol

Point Break (1991) – 2018-02-11 12:12:42
Works for an Action flick

If you broke the plot of this movie down to the basic, it seems kind of bad.

A FBI agent (with a state's name for a name) has to go undercover as a surfer in order to find some bank robbers...

Lol, but it actually works for an action flick.

Keanu Reeves plays Utah, a young former footballer turned FBI agent.

The movie is good for a watch with friends and some popcorn. No need to take it too seriously.
