Position: Attack force Job Scope: Basically you will make yourself available for K-SWAT duty. You will check your e-mail every day, and frequently visit the Fishing Spots area of our forums to see where on the Internet help is needed. In the event that you have a day job, you will remain awake while formulating and sending rebuttals to people, possibly until late at night if the debate is active. Requirements: 1. Good command of English 2. Good writing skills 3. Sufficiently fast typing speed or you'll end up spending lots of time on this. 4. Fast thinking. 5. Not be a Styxfish 6. Ability to form logical and coherent arguments without resorting to ranting or what a fish once termed 'lovestruck hyperbole'. (Although I still insist that my usage of the words "awesome" and "really really cool" in reference to Keanu's once-nomadic lifestyle totally did not constitute lovestruck hyperbole.) 7. Competent knowledge of the life and films of Keanu Reeves. For means of comparison, most of K-SWAT have watched at least 30 of his movies. (With the exception of the webmaster who has only seen 17.5, and that 17.5 doesn't include Speed, but don't tell anyone. EDIT: I have since watched a whole hour of Speed. Go me. \o/) OR A competent ability to fake competent knowledge of the life and films of Keanu Reeves. You'll learn in time. 8. A passionate desire for truth and justice and ridding the world of unfair criticism of Mr. Reeves. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Position: Logistics Job Scope: Assist in tracking down such things as article sources when needed. Keep updated on the latest news in Keanu fandom, and preferrably read or watch just about any interview that comes out. This will involve spending lots of time reading and watching stuff on Keanu fansites, remembering most of it, and letting us know the important bits. This may not be as fun as it sounds. Requirements: 1. A fairly large amount of spare time 2. Fast reading speed with high level of information retention 3. Good memory 4. Patience, namely the ability to withstand people making demands such as "oi which article was it where they said Keanu's IQ was 160?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Position: Reconnaissance Job Scope: Trawl the Internet for fish activity. There are various ways of doing so, one of which is finding a nice search engine like Google or Yahoo! and typing "keanu can't act" or "keanu+"worst actor ever""into the search bar. Eventually you'll find a nice juicy fish that you can tell us about, and we'll go get 'em. Requirements: 1. A fairly large amount of spare time 2. Ability to use search engines -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Position: Writer Job Scope: Contribute to the WINM blog. Anything to do with defence of Keanu can go up there, as well as rebuttals against fish that cannot be contacted by the attack force. Requirements: - Same as those for the attack force. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At present, most of us multitask and do several jobs, but specialisation is good and it makes us look like an organisation, which is awesome and really really cool. --- yes we are totally not doing most of that now, but no one need know. We can make potential recruits fill in application forms that include lists of Keanu films they have seen, hehehe this is fun. Sadly, I must testify to the truth in this statement...  The SWAT can take up a lot of personal resources. To my defense, well, not TOO late at night.   ^ A popular smilie a few weeks ago. And remakes are hard to live up to ANYWAY, so im not holding my breath for a good reaction. No matter how mindblowing Keanu's performance will be! | ||
