Oh man.. this little guy is adorable... Aaaawwwww....

I wonder, do even the babies know how to use that wicked hooked beak?

I have no idea Seer, but considering how cats eg instinctively know how to work their claws at an early age, I would think yes. Owls really are quite fun, aren't they. Anybody going to the last Harry Potter? I missed the last two films, so would have to catch up first. Here's a link to a site that sells jewelry like golden snitch-necklaces, drink me-bottles, and all sorts of owl-related stuff: http://www.etsy.com/shop/UmbrellaLaboratory?page=6

You guys like the card? Or should I just order some generic ones? What do you think?

Hmm. Nice photo, but perhaps you could use a different colour or font for the words - the light blue is a bit hard to make out against that background. You could try using a darker colour and moving the text up to the sky area where it's whitish.

Yea, I thought the text might look a little washed out. Thanks Ani ;)

I too like the photo, but the bells practically disappear against the busy background. And I agree with Ani about the text placement and colour.

The two of you look lovely, btw!

I would so much rather get that picture for a save the date notice than something preprinted.

Thanks, Ink :D

Yea, I was kind of going for subtle, but I guess the layers are a little too subtle lol.

I wanted to use a personal photo, cuz I thought it would be friendlier but mostly cuz it's much less expensive to just develop the photo than buy announcements from a printer XD.

Uh..... nope! No way!

I don't think even Thomas Anderson would've done that.

The Winchester house is awesome, I wish I could go see it. Ghost Hunters didn't find anything, and most people just think the woman was completely insane when she had all that construction done, but I don't know . . . It's a really interesting story, and the house is a surreal architectural entity in itself.

Okay, you guys may have noticed that I vanished for a few days - I went to California for the Disney D23 Expo, and now I'm back, and here is the report from my absence:

I had a real blast at Disneyland/California Adventure, particularly since I spent the day hanging out with someone who works at the park - we didn't have to wait in lines.

And I had an even bigger blast at the Expo. I didn't get to ask Bruce my question(Why does Rinzler purr?), and Anis Cheurfa(the guy who played Rinzler) wasn't there, so I didn't get to ask him either, but I did ask Cindy Morgan! She said she didn't know, but she was going to try to find out. Also, Bruce remembered me!! He called me by name!!! I asked them both to visit Tron-Sector, and they said that they would(Cindy actually said that she visits there on a relatively regular basis, and Bruce said that he visits on occasion).

Both Bruce and Cindy are really nice. And I was really surprised that Bruce remembered me! Pleasantly surprised, but surprised all the same. When I gave him the piece of paper with the Tron-Sector website on it, he said he already visits there on occasion. I just shrugged and told him I was given orders by all of my online friends(i.e. the people from Tron-Sector >_o) to give him the paper. And since I can't seem to hang on to both of my disks(the second one keeps rolling away and I have to go chasing after it), I have to obey the orders. Refusal to follow commands results in deresolution, after all. He laughed and said that I was following orders like a good program. That made me giggle. Cindy said she liked my costume, which was really neat. It's always cool to get complemented on your costume by the actors.

Picture-wise, I didn't get to take as many as I would have liked to, but here are a couple neat ones:

Me, FlynnOne(someone from Tron-Sector), and a couple of other programs:

And these two are worth squeeing over, for me at any rate:

Oh I had a real blast. You know most people would probably buy an iPod or something with graduation money, I spent mine on this trip. I guess it's all about what things are worth to you.

Yeah, blissed out is a very good expression. In pictures like this, that will probably be the only expression you will ever find on my face. XD

It was awesome that Bruce remembered me. I went into the photo op booth and he smiled at me and I said "Hi, do you remember me?" and he said "Who could forget you, Robyn?" That alone made the trip worth while. The rest of it was just a bonus.
