I haven't seen him in anything yet... so wouldn't know.
but since the Weinsteins got their paws on the script... I think they will push the film with their protege attached. at least the story will get told. how good it would be told... that's a different story :|

When I first read this I was disappointed, especially since I don't like Bradley Cooper (although I thought he was OK in Silver Linings Playbook).

However recently I saw Fuera de carta which has a LOT of similarities to Chef, so it would be kind of redundant to make it.

Yes, it is. I don't know in your country, but here in France there are a lot of TV programs about cooking. Whether ordinary people in their kitchen or chefs in their restaurants, it's like every day on TV.
