Summary

A group of colonists are stuck in suspended animation on a spaceship bound for another planet far, far away. Due to a technical malfunction, Jim Preston unexpectedly wakes up a hundred years before he is meant to... becoming the only conscious person on the gigantic spaceship. He then faces the dilemma of wanting to wake others to fulfil his desperate need for companionship, while knowing that it would mean dropping them into the same horrible fate he currently has. What does he do? WHAT DOES HE DO? ... A shootable hostage would probably be handy in this situation.
