Thanks Anakin - Parenthood is great! Always wondered if they had filmed two endings for the drag racing crash scene... I was getting really worried when I first saw it!  Just read the "Wall of Shame". Man - there's some classics! I never understood why people would invest so much time bagging an actor they hate so much...  | ||

You've got at least two Portuguese chicks here (ckage and my own good self), and the 'guese know their ways around a codfish, I'll tell ya what. OOOOOH, you know what I luuuuuuurve? When you get fish and chips and the cod itself was seasoned before being dredged through the batter and fried. (Cheaper places will not season the fish, just put some seasoning in the batter.) The best freaking fish 'n' chips I ever ate were in Annapolis, Maryland, at my hotel's restaurant, which totally seasoned the little cod-fishy-woo. Yes, I said cod-fishy-woo. | ||

You can't have a Christmas Eve dinner without a plate-full of "bolos de bacalhau," it just wouldn't be right. I must admit to LMAO reading your post. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I'd see the word "bacalhau" on any website related to Keanu Reeves. OTOH, I think I read somewhere online that one of his grandmothers (or was it great-grandmother?) had some 'guese in her blood?Meanwhile, you also made me remember a song from the 80s, I think, called BaccalÓ by The Sicilian Vespers. It's a trip, check it out! ;-) Sorry for the thread-jack, Susi...it happens to the best of us. | ||
