I find it a bit sad that they ask for a female lead "of any ethnicity", but her name is... Julie Ivanova. Yup. I can definitely imagine a beautiful woman of african origin in that role. Oh, and Julie is or course an attractive woman - and intelligent and passionate. And she's in her 30s.

And then there's Henry's wife, who's in her 30-40s. It's striking how she's described in comparison to the lovely Julia. No mention of her being attractive, no. She's tired and disappointed, that's all there is to her. Oh, sorry, I almost forgot: she's also well meaning and kind.

And the male they're looking for is a small town crook who's 2/3 charm and 1/3 menace. Charismatic but not attractive, of course. There will undoubtedly be lots of bimbos surrounding him, and I would guess that at least some of his scenes will take place in a nudie bar.

Is it just me, or does this sound like the same cookie-cutter characters portrayed in the same tired, old stories that we've seen a million times before in worn-out tv-series running towards the end of their sixth season? Sigh!

and Julie's last name can be changed any time if an actress of a non-caucasian ethnicity will sweep them off their feet at the casting audition.
