Both the trailer links are now marked private.

Also, according to Wikipedia (I know), this is being released in the UK and there's no mention of a US release. Is that accurate?

Yes, that is accurate.
Seems like the US distributors are not interested in this kind of movie/s.
Superhero circus seems more interesting for them.

Then again, it will probably be on VOD by the end of the year.
Just a guess.

Thank you, LucaM. I was wondering too if maybe I could order the DVD at some point, if it's being released for Region 1. Hoping his other upcoming movies (aside from JW, of course) will get some stateside buzz.

There's always a way... but we have to get used to the idea that indie movies will be less available in theaters and more and more available on other means of distribution... times are changing and we have to adapt.

well, I prefer DVD to cinema, because the theaters show everything dubbed to German language.

However, IMDB shows several movies as completed that I have not yet been able to watch on or in anything.

I'm lucky from this pov; here the only dubbed movies in cinema are the animations for kids. Otherwise, it's subtitles. And it helps a lot getting the original 'vibe' of the movie...
Sometimes the translation in the subtitles is so bad, I catch myself muttering in my scarf... :D

re.IMDb - I guess there's a difference between 'completed' and 'released'...

Man, he looks to be doing a bang-up job in this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aurMIy0wuu0

An interview:

http://www.japantimes.co.jp/culture/2016/03/30/films/keanu-reeves-concoction-whole-truth/

This is incorrect:

"The defense attorney does not have an obligation to the truth."

...but considering some aspects of our justice system, I can see how he'd get that impression.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Region 2 DVD as I live in Germany.

Watched the film yesterday. Although it is a very quite, slow-paced movie but on a strange level it sucks you in.

I wish I could talk about the movie with someone, but I won't spoil anything, so you have a fun experience with it.

Well, it is expensive, I gave it myself as a present because I'm having birthday in a couple of days. I just didn't want to way that long until this movie comes to my country. I still would be waiting for Exposed if I had't brought an import.

I brought it at Amazon Japan. Link is here:

many thanks for the link; I completely forgot about Amazon Japan, I went looking for it on amazon.de :) :)

It is expensive, with shipping/handling/import costs... but as you say, otherwise we'd be waiting forever..

Ordered it now, waiting for it to be shipped.

Thanks again !

Shipping was fast in my case, because I ordered in advance. Hope you don't have to wait too long.

Are you living in Germany as well?

I have a region free DVD player, so anything goes :)
even DVDs from Thailand (purchased Generation Um from there)

yes, Japan is region 2
http://ice.he.net/~hedden/DVD_video_standards.html

there is a button in the upper menu of the page , right side, which translates most of the site in English. on the left side of ' your account', on the black bar. It works pretty well.

there are online convertors for yen to euro, just google and choose one.
http://themoneyconverter.com/JPY/EUR.aspx

but keep in mind that it's not just those 3000 something Yen, it's also shipping and handling costs and import tax... for me the total amount was a bit over 5000 Yen. with shipping to Romania and all.
I decided it's worth it :)

I paid around 40€. I thought if I would have watched the film at the movies I would have paid about 20€ for the ticket, coke and popcorn. And then furthermore the price for the DVD. And here I even don't know whether or when it will come out.

So, I decided to go for it as my DVD collection is the only guilty pleasure I have and I'm happy about every film I can lay my hands on.
