Then again, this doubt and scepticism is supposed to be very typical for Aquarians.

I've been reading up on the traits and characteristics of Virgos. OMG. Poor Keanu, if he believes/believed in that stuff it may have had some of the effects of a self-fulfilling prophecy. If he took to heart all of that stuff - and there's no denying that it's amazing how well the description fits him - it probably made him go all Sad Keanu even back then.

He said in one of those interviews that he's a Virgo with a Virgo descendant and ascendant, and supposedly his left-handedness matters, too? That's enough that if I had been an introverted, overworked, detached, loner perfectionist to start with, reading about the supposed traits of the Virgo would've thrown me headlong into a deep depression. :-/

Don't read that stuff, Keanu. Don't even touch it. Walk away!

By definition you can't have your ascendant and descendant in the same sign (they're opposites, Keanu has a Virgo ascendant and a Pisces descendant). He does have a big Virgo conjunction of sun, mercury, uranus, pluto and his ascendant though.

I agree that reading this stuff can be a self-fulfilling prophesy. Actually that probably goes for all of us as well. How many times have you heard such and such a trait you have is typical for a [fill in your sunsign]?

Joke (also a skeptical Aquarius :-))

Joke, I hereby propose that we call ourselves Scepticarius henceforth.

How did you find out all of that about his ascendant/descendant/etc? We do have his date/year of birth as well as his birthplace, but is that enough? I've been looking for some online astrology generator where one can enter one's data and get a somewhat correct overview of the planets and such. (I don't even know enough about astrology to know the terms and words and phrases for this stuff.)

@inkhuldra There are hundreds of sites where you can get free (partial) horoscopes. Personally I like Astrodienst at http://www.astro.com/horoscopes

Hopefully this shows Keanu's report and chart :

Joke - used that link for my own report and got, amongst other lines :
In defending your ideas you display all the strength of a zealot. Fortunately, your well- developed judgment tells you exactly where your opinions are not welcome.

Wow, Joke, that's pretty impressive. Not that I understand a thing about all the cryptic ingredients in this particular cake, but the description seems to fit him relatively well.

Here's his chart and report from Astrolabe, the generator that LucaM provided the link to:

http://alabe.com/cgi-bin/chart/astrobot.cgi?INPUT1=KR&INPUT2=&MONTH=09&DAY=02&YEAR=1964&HOUR=5&MINUTE=41&M=AM&TOWN=Beirut&COUNTRY=LEB&STATE=&INPUT9=&Submit=Submit

I love the: "You are also greatly concerned with hygiene, **cleanliness** and personal health problems." I don't know if I agree that he seems too concerned with the cleanliness part. I'd rather say that he's quite lax in the field of grooming and attire.

Well I had to log in for this (yes, I've been lurking ;).

Discussion about Keanu and hygiene. Anyone ever notice that his hands and nails are generally clean, regardless of his attire and the state of his hair?

I've always found that interesting and a bit 180.

And I'm not even going to go near the thought he should be asked about circumcision :D.

I would ask Keanu what makes him LHAO (he has a great smile and I love to see him laugh).

Actually yes, seer, I've noticed that, too. Perfectly clean hands and perfectly manicured nails. I dunno how he does it, but I am willing to bet that 1) he doesn't have any potted plants, or 2) he has someone else tend to them.

BlueGem, that's a good question. Can't recall seeing him really laugh in any of the interviews I've seen. Last night I was re-watching his appearance on the Norton Show, and I paid particular attention to how he reacted to the funny comments from Graham Norton and the other male guest, Marcus Brigstocke. (The third guest, Emilia Fox, wasn't all that funny.)

Keanu puts his hand in front of his mouth when he smiles, have you noticed? That's a rather shy thing to do. It's like he's trying to stifle or hide his laugh.

Can anyone recall having seen him really get carried away in a fit of giggles in an interview?

Do you not have pets because 1)your busy schedule 2)you don't want to be "tied down" with the responsibility or 3)you just don't care for pets?

I saw that he had a snake at one time, but he seems to have the type of personality that would love to have a faithful companion. I have to admit that I like (I actually love, love, love) my pets more than most people. I am a "loner" and was not able to have children so they fulfill some of that maternal instinct and are wonderful companions. I cannot find any info about him owning a pet at any point in his life. Can anyone provide interviews, links or other insight on this?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I think they had a dog when he still lived in Toronto. A bullmastiff, or do I remember it wrong? Somehow I can't imagine his bourgeois mother letting a big, slobbering mastiff into her house.

Edit:

They did indeed have a bullmastiff -- called Jupiter. Wow, the things I sometimes know.

Edit II: I believe I actually have a copy or two of that magazine issue.

I like that he's reading a real book, not an electronic device.

Since he revealed that he called the bike in Uruguay Blue Betty I think he might want to reveal the names of the other bikes? Someone should wiggle this, only somewhat prying, question in during an interview.

I vote for Arya's, what are the names of your other bikes. 'Blue Betty' is just fantastic.
