It IS more Monty Python and it's BRILLIANT and Keanu is BRILLIANT! I haven't laughed that hard in forever.

There's always something about each and every project he chooses. Even when they get hijacked, as it happened with Exposed. Or when the final cut doesn't seem to work, like with The Whole Truth...

... he's like a kaleidoscope. always different. always something else.

He's brilliant in a very particular and unique way, and he has a great gift for comedy. I was going to say that he wanders far from his comfort zone, but I don't think he HAS a comfort zone and the very phrase would probably be repulsive to him.

There are lots of very good artists in every field who are great at a specific thing - there are precious few who try new things ALL the time, successful or not, and keep trying them. That's the raggedy edge of creativity, and it's splendid.

Pop is pushing further into original programming.

The cabler has picked up three series, including the Will Arnett-produced sketch comedy Hot Date, based on the CollegeHumor web series of the same name and Swedish Dicks, Private Investigators, featuring Keanu Reeves in his first recurring TV role.
