The latest from Karen Sala:

Reached at her home, Sala said the DNA results are not "trustworthy" and she wasn't given full access to the results. "He's pretty confident ... but I noticed they failed to mention the results (also) excluded me as the mother."

Huh? The tests excluded her as the mother of her children? I haven't seen that in any other press coverage.

No, there's not mention of that in any of the articles I've read, including Spanish, British, American and Canadian press. She's truly nuts, in desperate need for treatment. I don't know if The Star is trustworthy, but I have my suspicions. So the story won't end here.

Yeah, I agree with nafsunaek. This woman is off her rocker.

The latest about the paternity case:

Edit: and another with a little more info. I think the "Court heard Thursday that Sala raised several issues with the DNA results, including the possibility of tampering or that Reeves used hypnosis to affect the results" was particularly illuminating:

that Reeves used hypnosis to affect the results

... right.

I hope the screenwriters of CSI are reading this ;)

Yet more, and it must now be pretty clear that the woman is completely loopy:

In her affidavit Sala suggested Reeves uses hypnosis and disguises himself as different people, including her ex-husband, Wolfson said.

huh ?

good grief.

Wolfson better start looking for that Marty Spencer ;) :D

And if the judge doesn't - finally - dismiss this inanity of a case, I'll seriously start suspecting we live in a PKD novel.

Maybe he learnt how to hypnotise his DNA when he was doing all that study into buddhism and learning how to meditate for the movie Little Buddha?

Ugossip still lives up to its name...

huhu
Hhahahahaha! Wouldn't it be fantastic if Keanu's people had set this woman up to look crazy because the allegations were true??!!
01/8, 02:39:34

Like I said
it's over now so maybe Keanu and company can re-think who he will continue to have as his atty.
And Keanu did win, he'll know now who he can trust. Better late than never.

No tina
I will never believe because it is a canadian court it had to be one that differently. But that is my thinking on it.

maybe you are right, and that is why they went to canada with it. The US would have laughed it out of the courts. In a recession on top of everything else, wasting the tax payers money in the US.
01/7, 21:53:16

well i do know these top attys
had to be in on i too, if anyone else was. they know the laws, right? The best of the best. .money and everyone wins, except kr. and i guess if for any kind of publicity they think he won too.
01/7, 21:51:17

thrown it out
maybe in a U.S. court. They must do things differently in Canada.

Tina
01/7, 21:50:46

come on she definetely was crazy
all this time talking about Marty spencer and others but the court held the case for 8 months. Looks like PR company
01/7, 21:47:02

I dont think sala got paid off
to drop the case. I dont think they had to, because she didnt have a case in the first place. she may have been a pawn, used in a way if she really needs mental health in order for them to get paid big bucks.

if she was hired, (i doubt this) , but, then yes she would have gtten paid off.

I think her situation may have been used.
but i really dont know, just an opinion.
01/7, 21:39:30

think about who got paid
the most. not his pr people. this was not about pr. this was a nuisance case that should have been dismissed a long time ago.
01/7, 21:26:46

lawyers milk rich clients
why do you think there are so many hating on lawyer jokes out there?
01/7, 21:24:29

I agree with ardy
Its very suspicious. I guess it was not the first Sala talked about crazy things but Keanu's lawyer just noticed this
01/7, 21:23:08

his lawyers
saw a long payday. i'm sure they knew they could have had it dismissed a long time ago but they are greedy f'rs. everyone out for his money.
01/7, 21:20:28

and actually... I tend to agree with the last comments. Methinks that's a very fine amount of legal bills... too fine.

$85.000 Canadian dollars of legal expenses for this case? I wonder what their hourly charge is. As for the case dragging on as long as it did, it was probably mostly due to the former judge's decision to let Sala contest the accuracy of the DNA test. That's where it should've been thrown out. I wonder how many times the legal system has allowed someone to challenge the accuracy of a DNA test. Probably not very often. I blame that judge, not the lawyers.

This whole thing is ludicrous. Really, if someone like Keanu had the ability to change his appearance and control other people’s minds, he wouldn’t be going to Barrie to make babies. He’d be at home shining all the Oscars he collected for the Matrix sequels.

... good point.
