It's kind of neat in a way, 'cause the writer is saying exactly what Keanu seems to be all about.

I'm wondering if it's not a subtle jab at the shallowness of Hollyweird - by indicating the efforts at 'stretch' that Keanu makes for the work, as opposed to the 'comfortable' tried and true choices most others make to stay 'stars'.

I'm not a fan of anime, but I do have my fingers dutifully crossed, K really seems to like this one, I'm willing to go along for the ride ;)

Did I actually detect a favorable comment on a certain A lister's talents and abilities?! It had to be my imagination, right? Surely..

that it's making the rounds that K could be a thought for this.. but I'm hoping it's a pass.. doesn't feel right.. but maybe it's just me ;)

NOW everyone will be yelling about the rewrite and how 'faithless' it will be..

at least he's fairly balanced in his reviews, gives reasonable explanation for his likes/dislikes, and doesn't waste time trying to be 'cute' ;)

Not having read the script, it still sounds like this one's a winner, all kinds of time between now and the screen to make any fixes needed :)

I've not got any doubt that K can manage this one - given the right material and opportunity. But I do have doubts that the 'critics' will actually SEE him in it, no matter how good a job he does - the majority of them have such a poor track record and I'm not sure they can break out of their comfort zone :(

Just continue to intrigue me :)
