| I thought that the gf was unnecessary; they didn't do anything with her! I wish they'd used up the time they spent with her on a few more conversations with Wander, Disco, or Biggs. I actually thought the movie was way too short, and all of those relationships needed to be fleshed out more. As far as the wife...imo Ludlow wants revenge for her death, but he can't find her killer since the coroner has tampered with the evidence. Ludlow's need for avenging his wife's death goes haywire when Washington is killed, and he is ordered not to hunt down his killers. In a way, the wife parallels Washington--they were both his partners; they both betray Ludlow, the wife by having an affair, Washington by going to Biggs, and Ludlow feels personally responsible for both deaths. Actually, it would be very interesting if the wife was having an affair with someone in Ludlow's unit, since the unit would then be involved in her death, as they were in Washington's death. |

| Hello! So the idea is to find evil, unfair, unreasonable, idiotic, pointlessly negative fish and bring them here as a sort of a cleansing thing? Once the fish have been caught and exposed, the great seas will be free of them? Do you guys intend a Friday fish fry, or a nice sushi occasionally? |
