Anyone else got a reason to love Keanu to add to the list? Let's go!

Now that Winters and Reeves are both documentary filmmakers, it seems perhaps inevitable that Bill and Ted become "rockumentary" filmmaker dudes...

Awesome! I see that it says they are planning a "college tour" - that means Keanu might end up somewhere near me if he attends screenings/tours to promote SbS. Crossing all my crossables! This could be an exciting summer.

The Lord of the Rings book was written in the 1950s post-war era by a professor in England. Therefore, there was a "canon" that to some measure needed to be followed.

The Matrix films were written in the 1990s/2000s by a couple of young guys with piercings who love comix and set 100 years in the future. They created the canon.

Think of all the social and political changes that happened in those 40-some years and then add all those that could happen in the next 100.

I love both trilogies, but for very different reasons.

What a lovely interview. It gives great insight into how this actor approached the film. I appreciated his comments about Keanu being underestimated by many. I look forward very much to seeing this film; I hope that what he speaks of translates well to the screen.

Part of me really doesn't want to see Keanu revisit this character...the fish will have a field day. On the other hand, its another chance for him to give the "The Man" the finger, if you know what I mean. And just maybe it will be funnier then hell. I'd love to see Keanu be really funny...mostly he's so ironic that it just bends people's minds to try to really "get" his sense of humor. He loves to freak with people's minds.

Is it possible that "You have ten minutes with someone who wanted to meet you and who has always wanted to speak to you." has been mistranslated?

It would make more sense if he was being asked about someone HE always wanted to meet and speak to. (My guess is that Keanu has had more then enough of being stuck with people who idolize him.)

If you look really closely at Neo in the Matrix, you can still see his ear piercings. I wonder if he let them close up?
