Edit, after eating a snack and pondering some: Actually, the book sounds kinda pricey for 40 pages. I have some kind of mental barrier that usually stops me from paying more than £20 for a book. I dunno how the artwork will compare to Alexandra Grant's usual works, but the pictures on her website under-wow my artsy tastebuds. I guess I'm not accomplished enough. I'll think about it when it's released. | ||

It definitely won't make it to any of the book chains here in Norway, I'm sure of that. So unless I order it (or buckle under the temptation to opt for a "downloadable" version), there's no way I'll ever lay my eyes on it. :-/ | ||

But it is a work of art and many art books are expensive. BTW if I was the author I wouldn't like seeing my book scanned on sites and available to everyone for free. Come on guys! We've got to protect art whatever the form it takes. | ||

Ani maybe you could provide 'partner' link/s here for the online sales outlets once you've determined who they are :).
Speaking of the Dogstar situation - is there a retail outlet that is still offering the albums/CDs for sale? If so you could always close off all but the lyric contents of the song section and provide partner link/s to the sales outlets for the albums. For that matter (since this thread is about a book :) you could even provide partner link/s to the sales of any other work that pertains to Keanu in any way - make up a link page with these partner buttons and call it your 'store' - who knows? That might even provide some small revenue for the site here :). | ||

Bought original DVDs, bought all three ( well, two and a half ;) ) Dogstar Cds from amazon. the Becky CD too. Bought Tobi's book (in e-book format). I even bought the John Shirley novelization of Constantine, for crying out loud... So of course I will buy this book too. I need to have it in its original, 'real' shape and form. It's not about 'owning' a copy of it, but about being able to return to it every now and then; about feeling the texture of the pages and seeing the tones of black and white and gray of the drawings and about the smell of the printing ink and the very physicality of holding the book in one's hands and... well... about being a collector ;) But I thought of sharing it with the fellow WINMers who can't afford paying 45 Euro or the equivalent for an art book. That's all. | ||
