| Forum Posts: 70 Comments: 1 Reviews: 1 | Hesher is a very slim and trim bare bones kinda movie. Very Indie. But with a very valid point. It takes on a subject very few films have attempted to do. It takes on the idea of grief from a child's point of view and the complexities as seen through a child's eyes. And no, it isn't for everyone because this is not nice neat and tidy. Life is messy and this movie shows the bleak reality of a horrid situation for a kid. | ||

I liked JGL a lot in The Lookout, Brick and Mysterious Skin. | ||

The two of them side by side deadpanning it would really crack me up.
Of course the nay sayers would then look on it as the "deadwood duo". "Sigh"..... | ||

A uniquely infantile pov that was a new movie idea. I will concede that. Can't we see a new ish idea without being hammered over the head for nearly 2 hours? I need transformaton in my movies...oh yeah, I need keanu in my movies. There, I said it out loud, and lol, at me. :) | ||
