It's always more about my limiting knee jerk opinions. There was just so much to digest. Then I give the movie another look see and I am loving it to death. HC is not best enjoyed on the big screen and I can see why it did not do so well at the theaters. | ||

Excepting for that contest, what effort did they make to reach out to the fans or web communities? I guess it was all too little too late. But I do agree that movie will be very popular on dvd. It's perfect for home viewing. | ||

(I might be mistaken, though; can't really be bothered to learn how facebook works. I'm too old for that shit ;) )

I blew it off at first, equally annoyed and confused by KR's interpretation of Henry...until I realized I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's like Keanu poked around in my brain, dug up all the stuff I bury every day, and used it to produce a character that is, emotionally speaking, a mirror image of me. He's done this before - explained aspects of myself to me through his work - but it continues to startle me every time it happens, probably because I've never seen any other actor do it. And it showed me the nature of my perceived connection to him - not that I feel I know him, but rather that I feel he knows me.
There's a lot more to say about this movie, but I almost feel like I have to let it keep marinating for a while.
