Ani, you have my contribution to filling-in the gaps in the other thread, the one where you posted the script of the interview and the link.

According to this article, it looks like Keanu may not be making (committing?) Henry's Crime in Buffalo after all:

First On 7: Is The Keanu Reeves Movie Coming To Buffalo?

As you saw first on "Eyewitness News at 5" and on wkbw.com, the Keanu Reeves movie project, at this moment, may not be shooting in Buffalo.

Eyewitness News obtained an e-mail sent to area actors from the Exxcel Model and Talent Agency, based in Williamsville. Sarah Brown commented to Channel 7 that the latest postings from the production company indicated that Keanu and company may not be shuffling off to Buffalo.

The letter read:

Dear Buffalo Talent,
We get a lot of phone calls to our office in regards to the feature film "Henry's Crime," which stars Keanu Reeves, which was due to film here in Buffalo. However according to all our breakdown sources today, the film shoot dates have been pushed back and now the only location they will be shooting in as of today is New York City. if anything changes, or if they decide to come back to Buffalo and need extras for a b-roll or what not, we will let you know, but as of this moment, the film will no longer be shooting in Buffalo. Sorry to bring you bad news but we figured it will save any further phone calls to know that the film is not shooting here any longer. As usual, we will continue to work hard and submit you for any available projects as they become available.

Buffalo Film Commissioner Tim Clark could not comment to Eyewitness News, but sources close to the movie say that the film is planning on shooting in Western New York sometime within the next month for an unspecified number of days, and several local people have been hired to be on the crew.

(There's also a video clip from a tv station breaking the news to the public)

More about the Buffalo-or-not confusion:

Concerns rise over Reeves movie

Updated: Tuesday, 17 Nov 2009, 8:19 AM EST

By George Richert

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - When actor Keanu Reeves was spotted around town, it created a lot of buzz.

But, the actor may be having second thoughts about shooting his movie in the Queen City.

"We do know that the location has changed," said Sarah Brown, Exxcel Model and Talent Inc.

Or at least it has on paper. A Talent Agency with offices in Williamsville has been trying for months to sign actors for the planned Keanu Reeves film Henry's Crime.

For months, the Submission Service they were working through in California, listed November 16th as a shooting day in Buffalo. But when they checked in the morning, it suddenly read only New York City as a shooting location on November 30th.

So, they called the movie's casting group.

"Basically, what they were telling us was that there's no confirmation yet on if they're going to be doing both Buffalo and New York City, or strictly New York City," said Brown.

But an insider with the movie tells News 4 production may be delayed but it's certainly not off course.

He says several pivotal scenes will be shot here, that some local talent has already been hired, and that Keanu Reeves wouldn't have made another scouting trip here just 12 days ago, if Buffalo wasn't a big part of the movie.

In case anyone here wants to advertise something in Henry's Crime, here's a little info on how to do it:

http://www.mediabuyerplanner.com/entry/46820/brand-in-entertainment-holds-live-auction-for-brand-integration-opps/

For instance, maybe Black & Decker would be interested in having Henry and his mates using their power tools to break into the bank. Or perhaps L'Oréal would like to have Max use their hair products in the movie.

What other products can you picture being marketed in HC? Use your imagination, everyone! :-)

Tiny snippet from Good Morning Buffalo today:

"Filming is supposed to start today in New York City for "Henry's Crime," that Keanu Reeves movie that's going to be shot partially in Buffalo. No word yet on when the production moves up here, but it's supposed to be all wrapped up before Christmas."

Guys, I just found this link to a site called Speak Up NY ("Reeves' film to interrupt Metro Rail service"), but for some reason my IP address is "banned". I wonder why. Maybe because I'm not in the US? Can any of you get there?

Reeves’ film to interrupt Metro Rail service
December 13, 2009, 7:09 AM

The filming of the Keanu Reeves movie “Henry’s Crime” is going to inconvenience some Metro Rail riders this week.

Service on the aboveground section between Fountain Plaza and Church Street will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 3 p. m. Wednesday and Thursday while a scene is shot on the transit line’s track bed, the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority announced. This disruption may extend to Friday, the likely alternate day for filming, the authority said.

Shuttle buses will be available to move passengers to the next station in each direction while the movie crew is busy on the tracks. Trains will operate without interruption between the Erie Canal Harbor station and Church Street and Fountain Plaza and the University station during filming, and the entire line will be in service before and after each day’s suspension.

OK, I've seen that piece of news before. I wonder what scene they're going to shoot there. ON the transit line's track bed, it says. Hmmm.

Hope they dress warm, poor crew. The weather forecast predicts below-freezing temperatures and wind, and snow on Thursday. Not the best weather conditions for a film crew, I think.

Yeah, it seem the cast & crew will have to sacrifice January for the movie. They're scheduled to film until 29. January, so that's a whole month more than the original plan. Hope it won't cause any major problems for them.
