A bit offtopic, but I remembered the Wachowski brothers (I mean from the Matrix times) as brothers :-))) But on this video Lana is clearly a woman.

Based on Wikipedia (maybe I am the last one to know?):

Rumors that Lana was transitioning gender spread in the early 2000s, though neither sibling had spoken directly on the subject. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Lana completed her transition after Speed Racer (2008).

The Hollywood Reporter and the New York Times have referred to the Wachowskis as "Andy and Lana (formerly Larry) Wachowski", and Deadline.com has referred to the duo as "Andy and Lana Wachowski." On some documents she appears as Laurenca Wachowski.

In July 2012, Lana made her public debut as a woman, in a video discussing the creative process behind Cloud Atlas.

Reviews: 13		Reeves has just started shooting Taylor Hackford's Devil's Advocate, in which he plays a lawyer who learns his boss (Al Pacino) may be the Prince of Darkness. It sounds exactly like the way Reeves feels about working in Hollywood. He has yet to give a fully realized performance in a movie that he took to stretch his talent. But there is a glint in his eye when he gets close, as in Idaho, that suggests he'd rather be in over his head than under a speeding bus. Maybe he is nuts, but Reeves will keep up the fight. Bet on it. Zero distortion.

I have no idea. I wondered that too, but then I got distracted being angry at the transphobes swarming around those articles.

Lana creeps me out a lot less now, though. She seems a lot more normal than Larry ever was. :|
