There are days when I`m perfectly fine(that`s most of the time),but then he does sth or says sth(and sometimes it`s little sth that is very hard to notice)which totaly moves me out of the ballance and then I get lost and need some time to pull myself together again. When I tell other non-fans that I am "madly in love" with Keanu they always jump to tne conclusion that it is purely sexual in nature. While I admit, if the opportunity to have sex with Keanu ever presented itself, I don't think I would turn it down; but my love for his is so much more. I, too, find myself sitting alone, depressed that he will never know me and we will never be friends. I do take some comfort in knowing that he always is gracious with his fans and I like to believe that occasionally he thinks of us if only in a general sense rather than individually.
Anyway, this thread has gotten way off topic so to bring it back to Side by Side, I rented and watched it last night on VOD. I was very impressed. As I have said before in my posts, I am technologically challenged, but the subject matter was presented in such a way that I could easily understand it. I feel like I learned something and am now at least a little less challenged:) Keanu should be extremely proud of his accomplishment with this film. As for those who were distracted by his various hairstyles and state of his facial hair, I hardly even noticed. I was much more interested in what he had to say, what his interview subjects had to say, and generally learning something as I watched. | ||

if you get to attend the Q&A and to ask a question... maybe you can ask if there's a DVD release planned for the future? I know that Tribeca bought the distribution rights, but... maybe there's hope also for a DVD release. but most of all, enjoy the screening. :) | ||
