Maybe Anakin can get it out, she's got a script or two pending, apparently she's involved in the film industry. :)

i don't know if that will be realistic, tho.

I'd love to see a Constantine II too (hah, tutu) but think the script would have to be really something else for KC to seriously consider it. Also, I don't think we need to worry about a dye job, since he didn't go blond for the first.

Well, Angela is supposed to hide the spear of destiny, I don't think Satan and his legions just going to sit by and not intercept - what self-respecting evil entities would do that? Starting point, maybe? Makes sense to me :)

Here's a review of Constantine that I can't remember having seen before. I like that the reviewer likes Keanu in it. And if you follow the link to her review of Something's Gotta Give, she says very nice things indeed about Our Man:

thanks for the link !
it's always nice to read a positive Constantine review - even if the lady was reviewing just the movie, not comparing it to the comics, 'cause well... oh, let's forget it. after all, maybe it's better this way ;)

and thanks again, 'cause the site and the reviews make an interesting reading for me. I happen to agree with her review of SGG ; snort at her review of The Matrix - in her defense, it was written in 1999 ;) ; smile at her gradually discovering the fact that Keanu Reeves can actually act and - oh, the horror ! is actually good at it. ( playing Connie might have been one of K's most inspired career choices ;) it surely got him noticed ;) :D )

and I will choose to forget I ever read her review of Revolutions because she simply didn't get it. oh well.

Not again, Mr. Reeves!Last time you used kung fu to a poor fan who asked for autograph for Smith. ÎH, Mr. Reeves, how many times were you told not to drink so much at night!?

Talk about a movie that didn't get its due praise.

With only 46% on RottenTomatoes, "Constantine" has endured endless criticism for its messy script and overly-spectacular battle royale between heaven and hell. Keanu Reeves didn't get much love either, as many critics anointed him the worst possible choice for the elusive comic book character. The movie's accused of being a cheesy rip-off of "The Matrix" muddled with a tinge of "The Exorcist."

You know what? These critics can suck it.

*grins*

thank gods for the moment K decided to play Connie ;)

Warner, there's your tagline for Constantine 2.
Now someone please go write that script. Like, yesterday.

I am still working on it Luca. And if you remember it was me that said Connie would get married - over a year ago if I remember correct. (another forum) But for those aghast at the idea, remember not everything is the way it seems. ;)

well, do hurry up then :D

and yes, I remember - but what's marriage got to do with anything, anyway ?
btw, comics!Connie DID get married. Issue 275 of Hellblazer, March 2011. Got nothing against the idea; after 274 comic book issues, it was kinda bound to happen. Got everything against the writer's sloppy handling of the story, though. Don't get me started, it would be quite an epic rant *fumes*.

not everything is the way it seems. ;)

the story of Connie's lives ;)

...and conspicuously similar to the 'it's not what it looks like' line from another movie... but I digress ;)

btw the working title is "Constantine's Question".

Opening Scene

The opening is showing a lovely English Manor house (possibly Conneticut) and a long driveway with a delivery vehicle winding up the drive. Driver gets out to deliver said package and knocks on the door to get no immediate answer. Steps back and looks up at the house, tries again to get a response to the deep chime of the doorbell. Various sounds come from within. (Including scratching at the door). After a few sounds of locks being thrown back, the door opens a crack. An eye appears at the crack.

"Package delivery Sir. For a Mr. John Constantine."

No reply. The door is shifting as if being both held back and opened.

Door opens a fraction wider.

"Yes, I'm Constantine. John. Ahemn Ya."

"Please sign here." Hands the sign tablet and stylo to John who has now wriggled an arm free, but keeps his foot firmly wedged in the door. The door continues to wiggle as if being pulled from the other side.

"Is everything alright, Sir?"

"Ya, its okay." (At which point a female giggle can be heard from behind the door.)"Having a bit of fun and games with the missus. You know how it is." Constantine smirks, but still holds the door from being opened wider.

"Alright then, here is your package Sir. Have a good day." (Hands Constantine a small package)

"Yes, you too." (Takes the package with one hand while the other holds the door and with a wide grin closes the door firmly and quickly.)

The delivery driver then hesitantly goes back to his vehicle glancing back at the front of the house, cast in shadow.

I know better than to post it all on line.

As to the missus - well my dear Luca it is all in the inflection or delivery.

As to the Question - well, don't we all have questions ? ;)
