Also : Beyond the technical aspects, a uniformly enthusiastic line-up of scenery-chewing character actors including Willem Dafoe, John Leguizamo and Ian McShane, serve as a brilliant counterpoint to Reeves' applaudably understated turn. But as of now there are only nine reviews, which is meaningless in terms of the overall rating. And that's before even considering how many critics will write this off just because it's Keanu. Do I want it to stay 100%? Absolutely. Have I been burned one too many times from movies I get excited about that start off well and then sink to an 80s rating as more reviews come in? Yes, it's only 9 on Rotten Tomatoes, but online there are numerous positive reviews. They are just not all shown on Rotten Tomatoes. :) In fact, I don't think that I've seen ONE *negative* review so far. (Like, REALLY bad review) :D | ||
