There was just so much emotional depth, it was like a mini story of it's own, giving away just enough to make you curious and cough up the small fortune it costs to get into the theater. And gotta love reddit (well, most of the time anyways). Definitely gonna see!  | ||

And not just any image of Spike, but a special one - from the ending scene of the anime. KR was supposed to play Spike, in a live action adaptation of the anime series. That project was cancelled. Nice coincidence, though ;) | ||

I don't know why it makes me so happy to see him getting mad and killing folks, or maybe it's just been so long since he's done it that I forgot how good he is at it. I haven't seen Street Kings yet and he did so little in 47 Ronin, so the last I remember is that terrific bit in Constantine when he hit the half-breeds with holy water and then shot 'em all to hell - literally. He made that one of the sexiest and most stunning action scenes I've ever watched. Maybe this reminds me of that, I don't know, but this movie looks like everything I want to see and so much more than I dared to hope for. Come on, October. | ||
