In the end I've decided he meant that there's not a recipe, you cannot mix the 'ingredients' in exact measures to get a perfect dish (= happiness). I can visualize him saying: "What do you mean by being happy? To what an extent, 'happy'? What's happiness?". Maybe I'm wrong, though. I agree with Luca about his being deflecting rather than defending. | ||

Don't worry about asking questions DonnaJ, discussion is a WiNM hallmark, questions the instigation of such :). Agreed on the deflecting as well - if K ever feels the need for defense it is only in relation to his work, I doubt he feels any need at all to defend his personal self/choices/actions ;). | ||
