Okay, here's a trés funny Hugo Weaving quote from his bio on IMDB:

"I was on top of Keanu Reeves, he was on his back and I was on my trunk, and I was breathing down his neck for hours and hours. It was... very erotic." (on filming The Matrix Reloaded (2003)

Here's a new little thingie with minor Keanu kontent, but it's worth checking out anyway for a giggle:

A couple of articles on MSNBC. The first is an interview with Our Man about Constantine (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6976128/ns/entertainment-movies/), and the other one is a vicious "commentary" on Keanu's acting abilities (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6940807). Argh! I'd personally slap those women around with a large trout if I'd ever meet them.

Also, I just found this little tidbit about the strange case of Karen Sala and the DNA test: http://www.imnotobsessed.com/2009/10/15/keanu-reeves-is-not-the-father-of-karen-sala--s-child

...As I recently told ckage on another board, you don't slap fish with fish.

Some time ago I came up with this mini thought experiment after reading some Matrix-sequel-era articles about how CGI / motion-capture technology would one day be so good that filmmakers could basically hire all actors for their talent regardless of looks, because the latter would be computer-animated anyway. So in effect, they could get random actor X, motion-capture them, and on screen make them look exactly like Keanu.

In such a situation, I'd still vastly prefer real!Keanu behind the scenes, regardless of whether he's CGI-ed over or not. I'd rather watch Keanu acting as a CGI tree over some random actor acting as Keanu.

What do the fish have to say to that?

... *slaps them about with a large trout*

Hmmm, one doesn't slap fish with fish? Ooookay, is it alright if I just flatten them with a blue whale instead? Like, >>SPLAT!<<, sorta. OK?

Here's another article I just found, with another fish happily nibbling away at Our Man. Just not as ferociously as the two femme-fish did:

A funny little snippet with a wee little bit of Keanu content, from Indian website expressbuzz.com:

Fascinating faux pas

It seems the city is having wondrous trysts with fashion and its creators. Recently at a retail store a gent was shopping for jackets. This middle aged man who is also into the clothing and home decor business kept asking the sales assistant for Keanu Reeves type of jackets! The poor lass who had no clue kept showing him jumpers and wind sheeters. The man in a fit of rage apparently picked up three wind sheeters and yelled, "Is this what you think I need? Well then I shall buy them, but you won't have your job tomorrow," and stormed out. But security stopped him, because the man in his rage offered to buy, but didn't pay.

Hmmm, me wonders what a "Keanu Reeves type of jacket" looks like. I picture a worn and rumpled blazer. Black. Or possibly grey. Or brown. Always worn over a worn and washed out dark t-shirt with holes in it.

This looks like it could be an interesting article, and I can't find it in the archive. Unfortunately it requires that you register for a 7-days trial period. I decided against it, but it was very tempting.

Negligible Keanu content, but fun to read anyway: An article/interview about what it's like to be a limo driver at the Oscars:

From this: http://www.student-direct.co.uk/2009/12/men-pull-your-trousers-up/

"Men everywhere who favour ultra low-slung trousers; do you honestly think they make you look attractive? ... Arguably we have Keanu Reeves to blame. He is a famous actor with dashing good looks, he starred in The Matrix- a lot of blokes must want to imitate him. He does also, it must be said, have very short legs. Unable to undergo surgical procedures, it would appear that star-struck men have no choice but to give the impression of short-leggedness via their trouser positioning..."

Yeah, I saw that, too. But "very short legs"?? Where does she get that idea from? I tried to find photos of Our Man showing off the length of his legs, but it seems like most photographers can't fit the entire 6'1" length of him into the standard format of a photograph.

some screwed-up alternate universe, I guess.

I'm at the office now and can't post photos, but think of Neo running at the end of the first Matrix. If those are short legs, I'm a Burmese cat.

IF Keanu were an Afghan Hound, and IF he were to be evaluated in the show ring by a breed judge, the critique would read something like..

"this dog has a beautiful head piece, length of muzzle, good almond eye, perfect ear set, neck flows well into shoulders with good layback, level topline, short upper arm, good length of forearm, moderately angled, good length of rib cage, short loin, length of leg a bit short for length of body, in good weight and working condition. The overall picture is of a dog well balanced, excellent breed type, agile movement, plenty of spring and lift, a very good breed specimen".

He's not perfect of course, nothing in Nature is, but he would easily achieve his title :D.
