At this point I would rather just a summary. How so many people can find so much wrong with an enjoyable story of bushido and impossible love is mind boggling.

i found some interesting comments from kindred souls around (
http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Keanu-Reeves-Teams-Up-With-Game-Thrones-Friday-Night-Lights-Stars-Thriller-John-Wick-39497.html):

1. Amelie
Looking forward to seeing Mr. Reeves on screen again. It's the nuances of his performances that I find intriguing. Some never see it but for those of us who do he conveys more emotion with small and succinct gestures than the overblown performances that pass for great acting. Of course his undeniable sensuality which he continually tries to keep to himself is a factor as well. He makes you want get to know the man not just the actor.
2. Amanda
It doesn't hurt the way he rocks a beard. Accidentally sexy my ass,he knows the effect he has on women.I'm not up on all his movies but I love the way that guy looks.
He can rock my world anytime he wants to.
I think he even had a band once. How cool is that!
3. Melissa
Agreed. I've seen his old movies like My Private Idaho, Permanent Record, River's Edge, Hardball, Something's Gotta Give, to name a few, and I was moved by his sensitivity as an actor. I also noticed that he is outstanding in roles that are sort of brooding and dark such as the hateful wife beater in the The Gift. There's an edge, a certain "angst" in his performance that is truly moving in a low-key sort of way.

@marivicbartolata Yes, those are 3 people that understand. I think we often start out with sexual or sensual attraction and then, that careful/mindful watching reveals why he is so special. And that quality is without words. Undefinable, ineffable, the enigma remains.

@arya, yes the enigma remains...I have seen these various posts on youtube: Keanu, you are a legend. in a career that began when he was 16, there is something in him that keep him in this highly competitive business these past 3 decades! surely, it is not about the pretty face theory...he is much more than a pretty face...

Wow! Might take me days to catch my breath after seeing that! So beautiful, like a painting. Wonderful to know other people are seeing the same thing I am!

But what's the significance of the teapot? :) Surely he should be drinking tea from a china cup? :)

I love the work of Fabrice Dall Anese, he makes great use of light and dark in his shots, and the shadows.

Worth checking out some of his work.....

Dunno, I always decant my Pappy Van Winkle into a silver teapot before pouring it into my glass, doesn't everyone? And no silly ice cubes, either.

In that part of the world they often drink tea in glasses.
Having said that I can believe that drink is something harder than uh, tea. Like Moroccan Mint!

Tea in glasses is quite common in Mediterranean countries and beyond, but not from a whisky tumbler!! lol

I was only jesting about the teapot! :)

I'm accepting bets that what is in the glass is, ahem, not tea. I'm betting quite heavily that it is very fine old single malt Scotch.
